Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what personal data Agiliza collects, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Portuguese law.
01 Who we are
Agiliza (“we”, “us”, “our”) is the data controller responsible for your personal data when you use our app, website and services. Our postal address is Avenida Reinaldo dos Santos, Nº 16, 6º A, 2675-674 Odivelas, Portugal. If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, contact us at hi@agiliza.services.
02 Data we collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Account data — name, email, phone number and password when you register.
- Booking data — service addresses, appointment times, and details you share with Providers.
- Payment data — processed by our payment partners; we receive transaction records but not full card numbers.
- Usage data — device information, app interactions, and approximate or precise location (with your permission) to show nearby Providers.
- Communications — messages, reviews and support enquiries you send through the Platform.
03 How we use your data
We use your personal data to:
- Create and manage your account and process bookings.
- Facilitate payments, payouts and refunds.
- Connect you with relevant Providers and enable communication.
- Provide customer support and resolve disputes.
- Improve and secure the Platform, and prevent fraud and abuse.
- Send service updates and, where you have opted in, marketing messages.
04 Legal bases
We process your data on the following GDPR legal bases: performance of a contract (to provide the services you request), legitimate interests (to operate, improve and secure the Platform), consent (for marketing and precise location, which you can withdraw at any time), and legal obligation (to comply with tax, accounting and other laws).
05 Sharing & disclosure
We share data only as needed to run the service:
- With Providers — the booking details necessary to deliver your service.
- With service partners — payment processors, cloud hosting, analytics and communication tools acting on our instructions.
- For legal reasons — where required by law, regulation, or to protect rights and safety.
We never sell your personal data.
06 Cookies & analytics
Our website and app use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Platform is used. You can manage non-essential cookies through your browser or device settings. Disabling some cookies may affect functionality.
07 Data retention
We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this policy — typically for the life of your account and for a limited period afterwards to meet legal, tax and dispute-resolution requirements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
08 Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls and secure infrastructure — to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your information.
09 Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request erasure of your data (“right to be forgotten”).
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior processing.
To exercise any of these rights, email hi@agiliza.services.
10 International transfers
Where we transfer data outside the European Economic Area, we ensure an adequate level of protection through approved safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
11 Children
Agiliza is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
12 Changes
We may update this policy as our services evolve or the law changes. Material updates will be notified in the app or by email, and the “Last updated” date above will be revised.
